Types of Herringbone arrangement

Recently, herringbone floors have become very popular. This is a reference to classic elegance and a break from the current fashion for floorboards laid lengthwise. In order for the floor to be laid in a herringbone pattern, it must meet two features - all elements must be the same length and they must have a right-left tongue-and-groove arrangement. The advantage of such a floor arrangement is greater compensation for the work of the wood compared to longitudinal arrangement (shipboard arrangement). Depending on the cutting angle, the chevrons are divided into: Classic (90°), French (45°) and Hungarian (60°).

Classic Herringbone

A timeless floor pattern for every interior

Classic Herringbone is a popular floor pattern that consists of elements cut at an angle of 90°. Parquet floors and boards are often used, which makes it both an aesthetic and economical solution. The most common version of the classic herringbone is the single herringbone. Unlike other patterns, such as French Herringbone 45° or Hungarian Herringbone 60°, you do not need to cut the parquet specially to lay it. It is also possible to arrange the classic herringbone in a double or triple pattern. Elements of the same length allow you to arrange them creatively in many different ways.

In addition, classic herringbone is chosen for its durability and elegance. It works perfectly in rooms with different arrangement styles, adding a unique character to them. Thanks to its versatility, classic herringbone is a great solution for both residential and commercial interiors.

So if you are looking for a beautiful and durable floor, classic herringbone is an excellent choice. Thanks to various arrangement possibilities, it will certainly meet the expectations of even the most demanding customers.

French/Hungarian Herringbone

French Herringbone – Elegance and Versatility on Your Floor

French Herringbone is a product that has taken the flooring market by storm. In the past, it was used mainly in palaces and exclusive apartments, but now it finds its place in almost every type of interior. This floor is made of boards cut at an angle of 45°, which gives it a distinctive look. French herringbone fits classic, industrial and modern interiors. It gives them elegance and is very universal in terms of matching other design elements. The elegant, classic pattern adds elegance to any interior, and its versatility makes it fit perfectly with various interior design styles, from classic to modern. The use of high-quality wood guarantees the durability and longevity of the floor. All this means that the French Herringbone pattern has been in fashion for several years now.

Hungarian Herringbone – Originality and Unique Style

The Hungarian Herringbone is a sister product to the French Herringbone, differing in the cutting angle of the boards (60°). It is little known, making it an ideal choice for customers looking for a floor with an original appearance that stands out from the popular boards and French Herringbones. Hungarian Herringbone will work well in interiors of any style, constituting an excellent base for various types of arrangements. Its unique pattern adds originality and exclusivity to the interior, making it perfect for both modern and classic rooms. Less popular, it adds uniqueness and character to the interior.
